The RopeFlex APEX RX 4400 is a tread climbing rope machine which provides a combination strength and cardio workout. According to RopeFlex, using the APEX RX 4400 is as safe as walking when used properly and allows for low-impact weight bearing exercise. RopeFlex also claims the APEX 4400 is five times more effective than strength and cardio training combined.
Resistance on the rope pulley and the tread belt are independent of each other and they can be used in combination or isolation. The APEX 4400 rope features progressive resistance which automatically adjusts from 30 to 450 pounds based on pulling speed and intensity. Additionally, the tread belt angle can be adjusted from 50 to 60 degrees to change the intensity of your workout. The APEX 4400 also features four retractable transport wheels.
The APEX 4400 is compatible with the HIPERVISION training app, which can help you customize your workouts, track your training, and link to multiple machines for group workouts and racing.
