The Diamondback Fitness 1260sc Rear Wheel Studio Cycle is a well-constructed stationary exercise bike that works with any cycling or fitness app on the market today, with the only trade-off being that you have to use your own smartphone or tablet (which most people have anyway). That means you can stream Peloton, iFIT, Zwift, Strava, and more.
And while this bike might be lacking in the technology department, it leaves very little to be desired in its hardware. There’s a 31-pound weighted flywheel on the back of the bike, which prevents sweat from dripping into the wheel and causing any corrosion (it sounds silly, but perspiration can cause damage to an exercise bike over time). There are also multi-position handlebars and a four-way adjustable seat to accommodate users ranging from 5 feet, 2 inches to 6 feet, 5 inches tall.
The bike utilizes magnetic resistance, and while there are only 16 levels, it can get quite challenging as you increase the tension.
